What is the difference between strength and muscular endurance???
Q: I dont get what the difference is between the two and how you can improve them both at the same time
A: Muscular strength is how much force you can exert in a few attempts, i.e., benching 350 for five reps. Endurance, is how long your muscles can work at a certain capacity, i.e. 100 pushups. All I can say is to balance your workout…I remember reading one where you did three sets. An endurance set, a growth set, and a strength set. 15 reps for the first, at 50 percent of your one rep max(how much you can lift for one rep), 10 at 70-80%, and 5 for about 80-90%. Hope it helps.
difference between muscular strength and muscular endurance?
Q:
A: Strength would be how strong you are – how much actual weight can lift. So muscular strength would be the strength of your muscles. (You may measure this in how many pounds you can lift)Muscular endurance would be how long you can maintain this for, or how long long you can “endure” the weight for. (You may be able to lift 100 pounds, but only maintain or endure it for 20 seconds. But, if you lift 70 pounds, you may be able to hold it for 20 minutes)
