How Do I Get Rid Of The Flab On My Lower Abs?
Q: I’ve been doing quite some bit of cardio, I’ve slimmed down all other areas of my body but my oblique and lower abs doesn’t seem to be losing the flab. I’ve done great sets of leg lifts hoping to burn the area but it doesn’t seem to help too, any tips to help me on this area?
A: You’re gonna need to do LOTS of cardio to loose that fat. If you’re a woman, that is generally the last place we loose weight from. I am 5 feet, 105 pounds, and I still have that lower ab fat. grr.Doing ab exercises will strengthen those abs, but won’t burn the fat off.

Q: i wann get rid of the flab on my lower abs and i still hav a little layer on my upper abs. need it to be gone in 6 months
A: jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weightevenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight inspecific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they areyour problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will haveto work double on them. The best approach is this:1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normalweight, lower for overweight).2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.3. Target your problem areas with exercises.an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on astool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make surethat it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or youwill damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of yourbody back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second andmove it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week addto the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – sixpack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than thesecrunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results ATALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

Q: Thanks for the input so far. How about swimming?
A: Do not be caught up in the misconception that if you keep working your abs harder, all the fat wll go away. More important is that you need to do lots of cardiovascular excersise. you cannot remove fat from just one small area of your body, the only way to go about it is lower your overall bodyfat and the best way to do this is by running, cycling, swimming etc.that doesn’t mean you can just stop working out, however, but cardio excersise is more important for fat burning. When you work out, you should always work your ab at the end of the session instead of the beggining.Eat high fibre and hight protien, regular meals. lay off the carbs, sugars are bad. Eating more fat and less carbs in your diet will make you feel fuller for longer, so you can overcome your ‘workout munchies’ and contrary to what most people would assume, it will not make you fatter, just dont go crazy with it.-MC out
