What’s the likelihood of me getting pregnant in this situation?

Health related question in topics .We found some answers as below for this question “What’s the likelihood of me getting pregnant in this situation?”,you can compare them.

Earlier this morning, my boyfriend and I were having sex. The first time, we used a condom, and he cummed in it. The second time (about 1-2 hours later), he didn’t use a condom (he’d thrown it away) but he didn’t ejaculate. What’s more, it was a lot shorter compared to the first time. Still, I can’t help but worry about the consequences of having unprotected sex even though it seems unlikely that I’d get pregnant. What do you think the likelihood of me getting pregnant is in this situation? I don’t want to freak out, but I keep thinking about whether I should resort to the morning-after pill or just wait it out (don’t know if this info is necessary, but the last time I had my period was about a week ago, and I had sex today).

Sperm is present in pre-ejaculatory fluid, so even if your partner didn’t ejaculate you can still get pregnant. Anytime you have unprotected sex you are putting yourself at risk for pregnancy regardless of where you are in your cycle. Also, duration of sex has nothing to do with risk of pregnancy. You mentioned that your partner didn’t use a condom with the second time you had sex because he had thrown it away–did you only have one condom? And, just to be clear condoms should only be used once, after you are done using a condom and/or after your partner ejaculates teh condom should be removed, thrown away and if you resume having sex you need a new condom. The “morning after pill,” or emergency contraception, is birth control that can be used after intercourse. It can not be used once someone is pregnant. If you are not planning a pregnancy, which it sounds like you are not, you would be wise to use emergency contraception. Emergency contraceptive pills, also known as Plan B, can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected intercourse. The sooner they are taken the more effective they will be. I’m not sure why you would want to “wait it out” as you say, but if you choose not you use emergency contraception and do get pregnant are you able and willing to handle that? I would encourage you to decide what you want to do sooner rather than later, as this is a time sensitive decision. Call your local family planning clinic if you need to Plan B or if you have questions. Emergency contraception works by postponing ovulation, so there is no egg for sperm to fertilize. Sperm live in a woman’s reproductive tract on average for 5 days. Emergency contraception also works to make the uterine lining difficult for implantation and changes cervical mucous which make it harder for sperm to move around. Plan B is not yet available over the counter sale, you must get a prescription or go to your local family planning clinic. There are very few side effects, but as with any prescription drug side effects are always a possibility. plannedparenthood.org
just because you had sex once already and then had it again, doesn’t make him less potent! Sperm is Sperm and if one little bugger decides he wants to swim really far today.BANG you’re pregnant! one sperm or 10million – doesn’t make a difference, it only takes one to make you pregnant! Use a condom!
if the last time you had your period was a week ago than the timing is right for you to get pregnant.try not to stress out it will only make your period later.also if he didnt ejaculate the second time in you than the chances of you getting pregnant are very low.but you can get pregnant from precum.which is there pretty much from the time they get hard.also the morning after pill only works if you are not already pregnant.all it does is prevent the egg from attaching to the uterus.it has to be taken within 72 hours of when you had sex.i think it can be found over the counter now by the name of plan b but you have to be 18 to buy it and he can make you really sick for a day or two.that is not from expierience so it might not be that bad.if it is not over the counter yet you are going to have to hurry and go to your gyno for a presciption.hope this was helpfull and good luck..ps try to be more carefull next time..i have had pregnancy scares and they are not fun.plus there are a lot worse things than a baby that can come from unprotected sex
there is this thing called pre-*** & most guys dont know when that is due to come out of them, and yes you can get pregnant from that pre-*** be worried its a chance of the 9 month joy due yall’s way soon gl
even if a guy doesn’t ejaculate semen still comes out. so id get a pregnancy test. because you can be pregnant.
Very likely you could still become pregnant. Sperm cells from the testes make themselves up the vas deferens to the prostate and to the urethra. Sperm may also be in the pre-ejaculate, in fact. It is likely some remained in the urethra of the penis after your first sexual episode. I don’t know what you meant by this –“he didn’t ejaculate”–how do you know this ?? Did he tell you ? If he was inside of you, how would you know he didn’t? And what did you mean by this “What’s more, it was a lot shorter compared to the first time. ” Do you mean the time for his arousal and orgasm was shorter? Or yours ? Either way it would make NO difference as to whether or not there was sperm in the ejaculate or pre-ejaculate fluid. The fact is is that you had unprotected sex. You are 14 days into your next cycle.
It only takes one time, it doesn’t matter how long it lasted. Be careful, and if you don’t want a baby I hope your not pregnant for your sake. Good luck.
If you had your period a week ago then its a good chance you can get pregnant. It depends on how many days are inyour cycle. If you have a normal 28 day cycle then 14 days after the first day of your last period is when you ovulate and the sperm can live inside you for 3 to 5 days or longer. Just because he didnt *** in you that last time, doesnt mean there wasnt sperm present. But dont resort to that morning after pill. Just wait and dont freak out.
Anytime unprotected sex is practiced there is a risk. It doesn’t matter if your boyfriend got off the second time or not. He could have still had live sperm on his penis when you had sex the second time around. If you don’t want to take the risk of becoming pregnant, why not practice abstaining? Otherwise, I’d recommend that you always use a contraceptive of some sort.
anytime you have unprotected sex, there’s always a chance of getting pregant, don’t understand why you keep having sex and you’re worried about getting pregant, you should get something to protect yourself from pregnancy
