The so Curve Fashion Show at the Crazy Horse Paris MGM Grand

Intimate women’s fashion from Affinitas Intimates to Simone Perele were shown in one well-rehearsed and choreographed number by the Crazy Horse dancers. From the opening Cold Cream guard to the final catwalk you were seeing something that only a select few would be allowed to see.

What better place to display women’s intimates for the fall of the year. The Crazy Horse Paris celebrates the beauty and sensuality of women with sensuous choreography, stunning light displays, and film to portray the female form as art.

The fall line was sent out onto the stage for those in the room to marvel in three dance parts and a final catwalk number. With driving music and high kicks lace, color design and a little feminine mystery was shown to those in the room.

You must understand a woman must always have just a little mystery in what she wears so close to her skin.

The intimates on display ranged from the old fashion foundation to the more modern wear. We saw lingerie with crystals, shapewear that often looked more like outerwear then underwear in bright colors and lace.

There were the standard girdles brought into the 21th century that seemed to be made of a more lightweight material then of the past. Women’s panties of every shape size and color that could be imagined by a fashion designer adorned the dancers as they gracefully moved across the stage.

As far as swimwear was concerned what I saw that was unique to the United States while not so unique to the Europeans was Pull-In swimwear. The two outfits that we saw were unique colorful and punchy in their style. Their colorful all-over prints, the quality of the materials used and the distinctive, elastic band set them apart from all over clothes seen on the stage this night.

And yes not to be forgotten were women’s nighties. In a time and day when you are bombarded with television commercials telling you how women demand hooded footies or your grandmother’s old nightgown the old fashioned negligee is making a comeback this fall. Those very intimate fashions that so many women used to wear are returning this fall. Just as naughty and nice as you can remember they used to be.

In today’s world of high tech over done over produced same old same fashion shows it is always nice to be reminded how well a show can be done if you have the imagination it takes to do something different and creative. Congratulation to So Curve and the Crazy Horse Paris in Las Vegas they deserved every minute of the applause they were given.
