The only noticeable differences between these fighters apart from their boxing records, is their age. Floyd Jr. is ten years older than Victor Ortiz, Victor is 24 and Floyd is 34. Now the question that is on boxing fans mind is will the age differences be a determining factor of who’s victorious? Some say that it will because Victor will have more stamina than Floyd because he will be able to attack and defend more accurately, without becoming rapidly exhausted.

Ironically because wisdom is something that is acquired as you grow older, Floyd has more experience than Victor. A lot of people describe Victor Ortiz as the kind of fighter who will step into a punch so that he can harness that temporary pain to land a more damaging blow to his opponents. He also is highly flavored because of his defensive capabilities and strategic offensive planning.

The man on the other corner, Floyd Mayweather Jr., is just as (if not more) strategic as Victor Ortiz. Floyd not only can land accurate devastating punches but he is considerably fast and has experience on more years of experience on his side. He is also known to be able to take the full force of his opponents without being phased by it. Floyd is an experienced boxer who is able to elude his opponents attack while concealing his powerful punches for the right opportunity. He commands an outstanding untarnished record of (41-0-0, 21 KO) because of that incredible power.

According to Mayweather, “That fight (the Hernandez-Mayweather fight in 1998) was a key moment for me and helped me set my path to the rest of my championships and the boxing greatness I have achieved in my career. I continue that same motto today as I have always been willing and ready to face the best opposition available for me to fight.
