Growing Long and Healthy Hair

The Christmas holiday is approaching as well as the start of a fresh year. I think that the best way to end the old year and to bring in the New Year is to grow long and healthy hair. If we follow these tips together we can all flaunt our new looks at the first of the year but we must start now.

· Avoid Chemicals: The year 2011 was all about the hype hair colors and straight hair. For our New Year’s resolution we should make sure that we have “avoid chemicals” as one of the first things on it. Chemicals do make our hair look good for a short time but if we simply wear out natural hair we will see a big difference in our hair growth and the strength of our hair. For instance, have you ever seen the hair commercial – I forget who it’s by- that has the lady with the long hair who is twirling it and tying it without losing a strand? That could be you. · Wear Your Hair Down: The year 2011 was also a year for up do’s and the classic ponytails. However, in 2012 don’t you think it would be a great idea for us to show off all the hard work that we have put into our hair? Wear your hair down and avoid ponytails so the hairpieces do not weaken your hair. In return you will be complimented a lot because all men love when women wear their hair down. If you’re single you may find you a new fling and if you are in a relationship your spouse may want to get a little wild and frisky more. Imagine all of the wonderful things that will come your way because of your new look. · Condition, condition, condition: There are so many different conditioners that are on the market right now and quite a few of them smell quite well. Give yourself a at home spa day – you know with just you and the girls. Sit around and do each other’s pedicures and leave some conditioner in your hair for a few hours as well. This could be done on a weekend since usually most people have one day off on the weekend. Think of it as a tea party except it will be a hair growing and strengthening party with some extra perks included.

The year 2012 is a year for change. So, let’s all make a pact to do something crazy – growing and strengthening our hair. I’m in now who else is standing behind me?
