Goal Setting that Works

If you ever find yourself with a gazillion things you want to accomplish and find very little gets done. Take heart there is a way to accomplish all your daily goals. The feeling of euphoria that comes with checking off all you want to get done is worth the extra effort.

Make A Daily List:

Make a list everyday with absolutely everything you want to accomplish. Include simple things such as brushing the cat, washing your hair, laundry, writing articles. As you cross off each item you will feel like you are accomplishing something. Be realistic in what you can accomplish for the day. Sometimes certain projects take a longer time than simple ones. By writing down your goals you take them off your mind, which frees your mind to accomplish all that you set out to do.

Can’t get Everything done in one day?

Sometimes it is a good idea to overload your list, and move some things on until the next day. Always leave some free time for doing favorite things. Actually you can put your favorite activities on the list also. You can even put making phone calls, taking a short nap, reading a favorite book on your list. When the day is over you will not only feel like you accomplished something, but that you had fun doing it.

Check over everything you accomplished at the end of the week. You will be truly amazed all the things you got done. Start over each day with your list and you will feel organized and very self-righteous.
