You need the carbs if you’re working out.Some good ways I know to jump start weight loss are very simple things like drinking lots and lots of water every day (8-10 glasses a day). This will rehydrate your body and help you lose all the water weight you carry (every one does). Go for a walk every day. Just a short – moderate walk, 15 to 30 minutes a day. Pilates is a good work out too, but it’s painful for someone who isn’t used to working out every day (which is why the walking is good). Eating less fast food or pre-made meals (hamburger helpers and such) will also help shed some of the extra pounds.There are tons of other ways, but this should help you get started.

A: if i were you, i would do circuit training. i’m only 16 and don’t have much weight to loose, but this really worked for other people i know. first, do 30 seconds of sit ups. then rest for 10 seconds and do another 30 seconds. do that about 3 times. then, do 30 seconds of squats rest for ten, do another 30 seconds etc. then do the same for lunges, and crunches and any other exercise. repeat this sequence for as many times as you can comfortably do each day. you should also try going for a 5-10 minute run in the evenings which my mum used to do and she said she always elt really good when she came back and she didn’t need to push herself too hard. another good exercise is bike riding. this is good for shifting weight from your hips and it doesn’t damage your knees like running can. if you go bike riding you can also take your child/children along either on their own bike or in a seat on the back of yours and this makes it really enjoyable for the whole family. my neighbors take their little boy out on bike rides with them and he really enjoys it and it is good for him to get fresh air.hope i helped and sorry the answer is so long!and good luck!Mo.
