Before R-Truth failed violated WWE’s drug test, WWE had plans for Awesome Truth to win the tag team titles from Air Boom following Survivor Series. Evan Bourne’s suspension delayed that plan WWE had. After R-Truth’s violated the Wellness policy, the creative scrapped the entire idea.
The other news is concerning R-Truth when he returns from his 30 day suspension. R-Truth was told that he failed the Wellness Test (same time as Evan Bourne). R-Truth was never told he would be suspended, and had no idea he would be suspended on November 22, 2011. WWE’s creative team wasn’t told about Truth’s suspension until the day WWE announced it. Vince McMahon will turn R-Truth into a babyface when his suspension is over. Vince McMahon believes that Truth’s “Little Jimmie” catchphrase can make the transition into merchandise, and sell a substantial amount. In addition, R-Truth is becoming a face once again, because Vince thinks RAW needs another face.
Vince senses that RAW has only two strong babyfaces (CM Punk & John Cena). Mr. McMahon is afraid if one those guys become injured, RAW’s depth chart will be worse than it is currently.
