The Great Alternative to a Full Body Workout

When choosing a workout plan, you may be confused as to where to start. Be patient my sponge learning readers because what I have in stored may be the workout that you’ve been searching for. Now let’s put on our thinking pajamas and ponder as to what group of people can easily have the most endurance. I don’t know what you came up with but I’d say boxers. That is where the full body workout alternative begins, in a boxers training regiment.

Requirements:
A pair of shoes (preferably comfy ones)
Boxing gloves (not the cheap five dollar ones in the toy store)
A punching bag (hopefully hung somewhere)
*Optional: Jump rope (Just because boxers use them)

The Workout
Now after you acquired those materials, you can begin training like a true champ; watch some rocky videos to pump you up, goggle down some raw eggs, strap those boxing gloves on and blast away.
Well maybe not exactly those things but if that helps with your motivation then do all that you can but here are some guidelines to my boxing workout.
1. Use free videos online to learn basic forms and fundamentals of boxing
2. Hone your skills by practicing what you learned on the punching bag
3. Add routines as you get more advanced

Benefits Through Boxing Training

Now you may be wondering why would I go through the trouble when I’m not going to be a professional boxer but when weighing the benefits, it’s going to feel like a blue whale of pleasure. Boxing consists of footwork which make your legs not only burn but improve balance since it is key in boxing. When working the bag, your constantly using a combination of footwork, punching, ducking, and weaving, which pumps your heart rate off the charts which is exactly what cardiovascular activity is and in the same time strengthening your core. Work the bag in sets of non stopping minute intervals, you’ve got yourself one heck of a calorie melting, heart strengthening workout. Doing these will dramatically increase your agility in movement, and who doesn’t want faster hands?

Conclusion
I can go on and on about what it can do, and how great it is for us but I think I’ve made my point. Boxing training is something so convenient because there is not a time in a day when it cannot be done and overall it is just a great full body workout. Not to mention how fun punching a bag can be after learning a thing or two. It is a great alternative workout whether it’d be for core strengthening, endurance training, or just loosing weight, because it has all of those in one. Now go out there have some fun releasing your stress while you get healthier.
