The drawbridge at Georgetown is lovely to see,
It’s next to an antique store and many oak trees.
The boats must use a horn to alert,
The bridge tender – a crash to avert.
You blow the horn three times and then,
The bridge goes up – once again.
The marina on the other side,
Is a lovely place for you to abide.
This marina is very small,
And very peaceful for one and all.
You can watch the deer and ducks,
You just might see a buck.
The beavers swim around your boat.
They love to play and then to float.
The ducks and ducklings are around,
This sleepy little marina town.
I love to watch the sun rise there,
From the deck and my easy chair.
The morning haze is still around,
I love this little marina town.
