One lunch hour this week.
I walked to Denny’s restaurant for a strawberry banana sundae.
Yes, on a busy day I decided to walk to Denny’s for lunch.
The day was sunny and warm. By the time, I arrived and took a seat at one of my favorite spots.
Where, I can see the passing traffic outside through the large glass window.
I was comfortable and did not complain.
Not to mention, all the heavy foot traffic, next to bloomingdale’s. I finally was handed a menu with
breakfast, lunch and dinner, in it.
After reviewing their lunch menu, I gave it some thought. Why, not order a cold dessert, since the warm day called for it?
It has been months, since I have ordered any cold desserts for lunch. I recall, it was
last summer heatwave that moved me to order a cold dessert.
The waiter came to the table and asked for my order.
Indeed, I had my mind set on, a Strawberry Banana Sundae.
Once placing my order. Within ten minutes, I had Strawberry Banana Sundae on the table where I was sitting.
The day was delightful with the welcoming sunlight.
I finally enjoyed my Strawberry Banana Sundae, using my teaspoon and straw.
