who is our congress working for?
It isn’t us middle or low class working folk,
Its those rich money maker millions
who don’t give a dang.
They are just waiting for their next pretty paycheck.
Five, six, seven, eight-
Is it us that our congress appreciates?
Economy sinking low,
It sure hits our pay checks, making it a low blow.
There ain’t no time to wonder why,
Because after all that’s left,
It may just make some of us wonder why…
Should we even try?
So, who does our congress appreciate?
Is it their bling-bling or millions of dollars?
They sure won’t be taking any of that to the pearly gates.
It isn’t us that our congress is working for,
The ole unemployment lines just keep on growing mile by mile,

Why that ole congress didn’t even cry.
Will the economy ever recover?
Do they even give a dang?
How much can we as citizens take?
