Triumph Brewery is a Tri-State brewpub operator with locations in Princeton, New Jersey along with two locations in Pennsylvania (New Hope and Philadelphia). In addition to describing the company and its history, I will share with you a personal experience I had with them hosting a professional development event.
The company was founded in 1995 with a renovated two-floor restaurant on Nassau Street in the heart of downtown Princeton, NJ. Quickly becoming a hot spot of young professionals and students Triumph has become a destination spot for events, dinners or just hanging out. The 12,000 Square-Foot facility houses a glass enclosed brew house, which ensures some of the freshest beers in the region. The non-automated 11-barrel stainless steel brewery was built by Newlands Systems of Abbotsford, British Columbia. Often referred to as the largest and “grandest” brewpub in the state, it is said to have the “most architecturally striking interior” of any in New Jersey, with the brewing equipment visible to bar patrons.
Triumph opened up to more locations starting with a second brewery at Union Square in New Hope Pennsylvania. The third location on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia Pennsylvania starting serving thirsty folks in April 2007. Triumph has won seven medals at the Great American Beer Festival with my personal favorite Triumph Kellerbier a beer with yeast taking gold in 2004.
I had two positive experiences with Triumph Brewery in Princeton when they hosted our annual volunteer appreciation dinner for the American Society of Quality, Princeton Section. The staff was very accommodating and the food was truly wonderful. Due to the acoustics, we had a difficult time hearing our keynote speaker and the staff was gracious in helping us set up a microphone to better hear our speaker.
I highly recommend Triumph Breweries pub locations for hosting your next event or for just hanging out and having a good time with friends and family.
