Math is often a struggle area for young children and one that needs to be practiced on a daily basis.
I have a mathematically challenged child and am always looking for something fun that can be a helpful tool rather than a hindrance.
Our family was given the opportunity to sample a new product called Mad Dog Math as part of our voyage with TOS.
What is Mad Dog Math?
It is a program designed for children k-5 but can be used in higher grades if needed, depending upon skill levels, etc.
So what did we think of Mad Dog Math?
While the program as a whole is great, it was not a good fit for our family.
It was like flashcards but on the computer. While many families would enjoy a nice electronic flashcard math program, we did not.
The concept of the program was great and the program was very easy to use.
Mad Dog Math is inviting to children rather than becoming a circus for the eyes. This program was not overstimulating in the use of colors or graphics, which was wonderful!
