Three Great Projects Made Using Paint Chips

I have to admit it; I love drooling over all of the different colored paint chips in the paint aisle. I don’t know what it is about the paint chips but the bright colors make me smile. I have been seeing these bright colored little bursts of happiness used in craft projects all over the blogworld lately. Here are three of my favorite craft projects that are made using paint chips.

Two Girls Being Crafty – Intersecting Circles Wall Art Tutorial

Tristin at Two Girls Being Crafty shares a great tutorial for using paint chips to make wall art. Her Intersecting Circles Wall Art is a project that is based upon a piece of wall art that she found at World Market for $129. Needless to say her project costs much less, and in my opinion looks much better, I love the brighter colors that hers has to offer.

Tristin’s Intersecting Circles Wall Art is made using a blank art canvas, a lot of paint chips, and some modge podge. You will also need some saran wrap, and a heavy book to complete the project.

ReadyMade – Faux Mosaic Table

I am in love with this Faux Mosaic Table on ReadyMade that is made using paint chips. The table is made by cutting the paint chips into different size styles, which are attached to the top of the table by using double stick tape, and covering with a piece of glass.

This is a very easy project to make, and if you don’t have to redo or repaint the table it could be a very quick project. I have seen several other paint chip coffee tables that are similar but are covered with Modge Podge instead of a piece of glass.

Hey Gorgeous The Blog – Paint Chip Chandelier

I am in love with the seashell chandeliers that I have been seeing everywhere. While the Paint Chip Chandelier that Rhi at Hey Gorgeous The Blog made isn’t made using seashells it appeals to me in much the same way and reminds me of them with it’s muted pastel colors.

Rhi’s tutorial for her Paint Chip Chandelier is very easy to follow with excellent step-by-step directions and plenty of photos to show how she made it.
