The Temptations Versus Dennis Edwards’Temptations Review

It’s been said that a tribute is the best honor you can receive, from admirers that happens to adore the tings you do. And, while Otis Williams, who’s isn’t the sole founder, of the Temptations seems lost on that fact? He must accepts, as much as he sue and win lawsuits against former members, of the Temptations that front their own version, of the Temptations, as revues or review groups. They simply honoring the other founders, or primary vocalists, of the Temptations. Whether, the “Classic Five” legends or themselves that sung on hit records, as members.

At present, the present Temptations consist of: Bruce Williamson, as primary vocalist. With Ron Tyson, Presson, as lead falsetta or tenor, of the Temptations. Or simply, as many fans know the position or all it the Eddie Kendricks role along with Terry Weeks and Joe Hendron, in the bass position. Although the late great Melvin Frankin was only matched in talent, by the late Harold McGilberry. Who vocals was similar in tone to Franklin? And, then you have Williams completing the line-up. These are the guys that traces their heritage to the original boys, of hit records.

What urks Williams is in the fact that many primary vocalist, of the Temptations has startd groups that stands out over his group? Damon Harris, the closest thing this side, of heaven to Eddie Kendricks leads his version and with his history in the Temptations being respected, by fans. He honestly can make a living, by touring. Same can be applied to Glenn Leonard although through lawsuits which was won on Williams behalf. He must alter the name altered the name he tour under, as a former member.

Still, it doesn’t take away the fact that he was a primary vocalist which Otis Williams has never been in all his years, as a Temptation. One primary member, of the Temptations and leads one, of the best groups honoring the Temptations to date is Dennis Edwards. Who members are: Chris Arnold, in the Kendricks role and although this is a tribute group, with just a former member, of the Temptations. Arnold does a splendid job handling the songs, of the falsetta role. Compared against Tyson Presson, of Williams group you could say he out shine him. Then to rub salt in a wound to Williams legend, as a member.

Edwards has Paul Williams Jr. , as a member of his Review group. Yes, one of the Temptations original founder’s son is in Edwards group singing his father songs. And, if similarity was a respected art. Ten Williams Jr does magnificent honoring the group and his father legend. And, while Mike Pattilo bass vocalist isn’t truly deep like Melvin Franklin was , as a Temptation. This man can hold his own against any bass, with Williams Temptations. And handling, the songs, of David Ruffin, the legendary primary vocalist to ever be mention, as a Temptations is David Seay. Who can brag that he personally toured, with Ruffin,Kendricks, Edwards? When they was honoring the legendary status, of being a temptation.

This is the group that gets the attention, of many fans, of the Classic Five, as being a better group than Otis”Lawsuit”Williams. And, it might be because Edwards gives credit to the sixties line-up more than Williams. Who seems selfish to not even mention respect for Melvin Franklin in his very own act? It seems strange that a man, of this nature won’t mention another member that was in the grop to his very last breath,as a Temptation.

Edwards, as a former primary vocalist demands respect because through Youtube and other national broadcast his image, as the first replacement, of the hit “Classic Five” gives him that honor. Obviously, he has led more hit songs, than Williams has during hin tenure in the original Temptations.

One thing hat does stand out in Williams group is the fact that he does let the lead vocalst sing” My Girl” as opposed to Dennis Edwards. Who seems to be under the impression that he must share vocalist, with David Seay. When in reality he should change the song sharing credits and let Seay lead the song, from beginning to end.

The one thing Williams must give credit to Edwards group is in the fact that this one group, of many forme members keeps the Temptations name respected. We all know the movie based on Williams vision, as a member didn’t help his image in the least, with fans. Too much fiction than facts. But, then it was written, by others, with no inside knowledge except Willams.

Just think! If David Ruffin Jr. decides to front a Temptations tribute group. His name alone lend threaten creditials to Otis Williams. And, if you visit certain sites on the social networks you’ll find the son, of that legend singing full or partial qualities, of his father songs. The only problem is in the fact. He’s no David Ruffin. So sit back and compare that Williams group can’t hold up against Dennis Edwards Review’s Temptations. Who simply honoring the best soul group to ever come, from the Motorcity?
