I didn’t care to smell this fragrance at all at first because the name and the bottle looked boring. I thought, “This is probably going to smell like Insolence (I can’t remember who made that perfume, but I remember that it smelled like baby powder).
I can get an idea of how a fragrance smells by the way the bottle looks. And honestly, I’m usually right. Even in this case, Sensuous Nude does smell a lot like baby powder.
But it’s a great baby powder. It reminds me of childhood. After me and my sisters would take our showers at night, mom will allow us to cover ourselves with baby powder. I still use baby powder, and I love the fresh scent.
I also love the notes of vanilla and orange in the scent. It makes the powdery scent much more grown up. There is even a hint of floral mixed in with it.
The floral scent reminds me of a fragrance that Avon used to have called Kiwi Lotus. It used to be my favorite scent, and Sensuous Nude smells like it.
This perfume is a winner. I love the feminine clean scent. It’s the perfect balance of powdery fresh and feminine floral. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
