Jay-Z & Kanye West 2011 “Watch the Throne” Tour

With all the Rap/R&B Tours, Concerts and Events that have been announced and performed, we asked which one was and is the talk of the town. We asked everyone we knew and 78% of the people couldn’t stop talking about the Jay-Z & Kanye West “Watch The Throne” Tour. The two kicked the Tour off on November 28,2011 in Atlanta, Ga at the Philips Arena. With Concerts & Tours performed by big names such as Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Twista etc, We were surprised to hear Jay-Z and Kanye West Tour (Watch The Throne) was the talk of the town. We wanted to know if this was just hype talk or really true? Was “Watch The Throne” that spectacular and big that people all over are talking about?

We called a group of friends who we know that follow up with Concerts & Events. These people we talked to have always gone to every event that pass through their home town. If there is any event they couldn’t attend, they would research all over the internet sites and talk to people/friends that did make it to the event. They do this because they truly have love for music. They go out of there way just to find out if the event was something BIG and if it was then they would definitely blog, Tweet or they would write in Facebook about it. If there is anyone that knows about R&B/Rap Tours, Events or Concerts it’ll be these guys.

It was Friday, November 15,2011 when I called an old friend (Tony) and asked him regarding the Tour that Jay-Z & Kanye West are having. Tony is one of the gentlemen in the group I was referring to as stated above. He resides in Toronto, Ontario and he actually attended the “Watch The Throne” Concert at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. As soon as I asked him about the concert He said, “Oh man, what a show brother. It is a fantastic event and as a matter of fact, they preformed here two (2) nights at the same place. We’ve had lot’s of concerts down here mate but this one takes the trophy in my eye’s.” I was actually very surprised he was talking like this because Tony is actually a harsh critic about every concert. He usually would find something that wasn’t right, Either the sound would be too loud, the lighting would be to dark, bright or the Entertainer was not at His/Her best. He went on,
“Brother, From the start of the show till the end, I was on my feet. Everyone had a blast,
Jay-Z & Kanye West were spectacular. They performed excellent together for some odd reason and the event was well programmed.” I asked him,”Was it that good? I mean, would you say the concert was one of the best concerts in 2011?” With Excitement he said,” Not only was it that good, it was fantastic brother. The show wasn’t one of the best concerts in 2011, it was the best concert in 2011.” I was shocked hearing this from my buddy, my buddy who always has something wrong to say about every single Concert/Event I’ve ever asked him about. I was determined to find out why this concert is said to be the best concert. I called another one of my old friends by the name of Mary, she resides in Miami, FL. She is also one of the people in that group I stated above. After exchanging greetings, I asked her if she knew anything about the Jay-Z & Kanye West Tour? She Explained,” Who doesn’t? They performed here in Florida two nights, one night here in Miami and one in Ft.Lauderdale. Your’e probably going to think I’m crazy but I attended both nights! Can you believe it?” I couldn’t actually believe it so I asked again,”Both nights you went? But weren’t they two towns apart?” She said,”Yes, but it was such a great concert. I really didn’t think I would like it that much but it was something else I tell you.” After I hung up, I jumped on the internet and researched myself.

I started reading all the reviews written by fans who attended and I was surprised. There are a total of 33 Concerts in the whole “Watch The Throne” Tour. So far every Concert they have had, has been amazing. With really nice reviews and blogs regarding the tour, I now am pretty certain that this tour will be listed as “The Best Tour of 2011″. The tour is on it’s way to Las Vegas, San Jose and then in Los Angeles at the Staple Center for two nights, which will be December 12 & 13th. The last two (2) show will be in Vancouver, BC at the “Rogers Arena” on December 17 & 18th. This is the Concert to attend if it’s something you are interested in because from what we have heard and researched, this Tour will probably be marked as the best Tour of 2011. I will be attending myself when the tour is down here in Los Angeles at the Staple Center.
