In the courts of law…
The jury’s lips unsettled,
As yellow envelopes keep wriggling on desks.
The stench of hasted wealth,
And talk of bribery, become evident.
In the courts of law…
The poor man never wins a case.
The tearful cries of the less fortunate are abandoned.
The grin of the criminals is unmasked,
As evil takes refuge.
God’s glow phasing out.
Supremacy dominating.
All this happening in the courts of law,
It saddens me!
