If the Jacksonville Jaguars Lose to the Colts This Sunday Some Heads Should Roll!

I have never before made such a statement of how I felt about something like this. To tell you the Truth I am a huge Bears fan. The fact that I live in Jacksonville makes it nearly impossible not to talk about the Jaguars however. Face it Jaguar Fans you know that you’re frustrated, you’re tired of this team losing, you’re tired of the coaching, the miss-management of the team, and bad play calling.

Sure we can all give the Jaguars some breathing room after all they did go with a rookie quarterback in Blaine Gabbert. Sure the team has had some of the major role players injured. However the team is running out of excuses and I think if the Jaguars lose this game on November 13th against the Colts some heads should roll immediately following the game!

The Colts are 0-9 and have shown no life on offense or defense. Matter of fact I believe they are throwing games as my other blog stated. The issues are just as bad if not worse for the Colts. They lost Peyton Manning ( the team quarterback), and the results are the Colts are having the worst season since 1991 when they only won one game.

Here are some facts about both teams:

Colts Offense averages 14 points per game ranked 30th in the NFL, averages 282 total yards per game ranked 31st in the NFL, and averages 128 passing yards per game, ranked 28th in the NFL, and averages 100 Rushing yards per game and ranked 23rd in the NFL.

Colts Defense allows an average of 31 points per game and is ranked 32nd in the NFL, allows over 406 total yards per game and ranked 31st in the NFL, allows 260 passing yards and is ranked 24th in the NFL, and allows 146 rushing yards per game and is ranked 31st in the NFL.

Jaguars Offense averages 12 points per game and is ranked 32nd in the NFL, averages 242 total yards per game and is ranked 32nd in the NFL, averages 123 yards per game in passing and is ranked 32nd in the NFL, and not last but least averages 119 rushing yards and is ranked 14 in the NFL.

Jaguar Defense Allows only 20 points per game and is ranked 8th in the NFL, allows an average of 307 total yards per game and is ranked 5th in the NFL, allows an average of 197 passing yards per game and is ranked 8th in the NFL, and last but not least only allows an average of 110 rushing yards per game and is ranked 12th in the NFL.

As you read these facts taken from both teams web pages and stats provided by the NFL you can see that the Jaguars are going to have to rely on defense to win this game. Look for Jones Drew to run the ball. I would expect a 100 yard day for him alone. Look for Blaine Gabbert to air out the ball.

However if for whatever reason the Jaguars lose this game I believe that Jack Del Rio should be fired on the spot. There is no reason for the Jaguars to lose!
