The process is fairly simple and it can even be made at home on a daily basis. When it is made at home, it is safe and free from a lot of contamination and will also be free of artificial flavoring as well.

You can easily learn how to make soy milk by following a few tips. Clean the soy beans and crack them before soaking in a pot of water for about eight hours. Then remove the hulls and rinse again. Repeat the process a couple of times.After this, heat the wet beans for at least two minutes in order to get rid of the beany flavor in the milk. Now, put the soaked beans in a blender and keep adding water and you will get about a liter of soy milk. After running the blender for a while, remove it and strain the mixture using cheesecloth. Then boil the milk for about 7 minutes. After that you have to strain it once more before refrigerating. This milk can be used for at least 3 days.

After you have learnt how to make soy milk, you can also add some flavoring such as sugar, salt, cinnamon, or use any other fruit flavored sauce. These beans can even be microwaved for a couple of minutes before you can begin the grinding process. If the beans are whole, then you may have to soak it for at least 16 hours.
