Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine is scheduled to release her new album “Ceremonials” on October 31, 2011. As a huge Florence and the Machine fan, I am extremely excited to see what her new album holds. Her 2009 debut album “Lungs” was abundantly successful in the UK and beyond, and fans are looking forward to her upcoming album. Here is a look at what “Ceremonials” has in store for Florence’s fans, and why she’s not going anywhere.

Amazing Singles

Since the news came out that Florence and the Machine was releasing a follow-up album, she has released two singles from her upcoming album “Ceremonials.” The songs are titled “What the Water Gave Me” and “Shake It Out.” I have watched both music videos on youtube, and I seen her perform “What the Water Gave Me” and I can definitely say that I am thrilled with Florence’s latest output. I can honestly say that I cannot wait to see what the rest of “Ceremonials” has in store.

Telling Details

There have been many articles that have given fans great insite into what Florence’s new album may have in store for her fans. One particular article by the Guardian UK is calling “Ceremonials” epic. The article states “A sneak preview of seven tracks from the follow-up to Lungs suggests something epic.” From what I’ve heard so far, it appears Florence’s follow up album will certainly be amazing.

No Chance of Conforming

When Florence and the Machine’s debut album “Lungs” came out, my faith in the music industry was restored. Here was a brilliant, original and innovative artist that exuded talent and creativity. I could not imagine an artist like this conforming to what the mainstream music industry wants.

Bring on October 31st!

Halloween simply cannot come fast enough. I cannot wait to listen to the new tracks on “Ceremonials” and add them to my library of songs on my mp3 player. From the two songs I’ve seen, Florence and the Machine is right on track to besting her debut album “Lungs.” Meanwhile, on October 31, 2011, I will be lining up for my copy of her new CD.
