How can I numb away all my emotions and feel/act unemotional?
Q: Its for complex reasons, but do you have tips to act extremely unemotional and feel it too? How can I feel unemotional?? please help 🙂 i really need this
A: The only way to numb your emotions to experience everything. And I mean horrible, terrifying, sad experiences. However, you can act unemotional. Feeling and acting are two different things. I hide feelings myself. In the inside, I am screaming but on the outside, I’m as happy as a pig in mud. A way to hide your emotions is to act confident no matter what. Try to release your emotions if they hurt that bad. It’s all part of your brain. Tell yourself that you are happy and smile a lot. You will start to believe in yourself, and will feel happy again.
I am hollow; I feel no emotion, your opinion?
Q: I am hollow: I feel no emotion. Your opinion? Is it normal, am I a monster, or a conventional member of society?Freud described it as intellectualizing, however, I’ve read Freud, so now I know i have it, and unlike most who use this tool, I am completely aware of my acting to all humanity. What should I do? I do not sympathize or care for the evil that is mankind.Good, bad, change, or stay?
A: i can’t say whether or not you should change. the future is unpredictable. look out how you got into that state – it just happened like everything else. it just pops up out of nowhere; everything is always changing. eventually, you will change also and you’ll be looking at this “emotionless” state you are in now and laugh.overall, though, i think you have depression. and i think that depression is rooted in the past. but the past’s the past. it went away. you are where you are. and, i think that one thing you should change is the fact that you think that mankind is evil. it seems to me that that is the root of the problem in the first place – you don’t like where you are, so you’re trying to get somewhere “better.” you can’t know what is good and what is bad – it all changes. and you see mankind as being evil… mankind, though, is not inherently evil. if man were evil, then that’s saying you’re evil. and so, you can’t trust yourself. you’re probably at a point where you’re trying to control yourself to be absolutely good and happy. depression, though, i think, is a state where you haven’t achieved that good and happy wonderfulness that we here in the west hold so highly, so you’ve given up and feel as though you can’t do anything. this is ridiculous, though – if you can’t trust yourself, can you trust your own distrusting of yourself??? just know that happiness is the absence of striving for happiness. you’re trying too hard to be happy. just go with the flow.
