It may be a tad stuffier than the Golden Globes, but the 84th Annual Academy Awards ceremony — slated for this Sunday – is sure to lighten up with returning host Billy Crystal.
It’s been eight years since Crystal last hosted the Oscars , but he may be a sight for sore eyes for old school awards ceremony fans. (Since his last stint in 2004, we’ve had an interesting array of hosts ranging from Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin to last year’s head scratching duo of James Franco and Anne Hathaway)
In addition to Crystal’s return, the lineup of presenters includes Halle Berry, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Michael Douglas, Cameron Diaz, Angelina Jolie, Kermit and Miss Piggy, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez and Meryl Streep. And that’s only a partial list!
Of course in addition to speculating who will win for Best Motion Picture or Best Actor, the fashion police will determine who’s the best dressed on the Oscar red carpet. Upfront, our vote goes for Miss Piggy!
