Pumpkin cat is orange and white,
He never ever goes out at night.
During the day he goes outside,
But stays out front and close by.
He loves to sit on the bench, you see,
And keeps an eye on you and me.
He has to know just what we’re doing,
What we need or are pursuing.
At end of day is back inside,
And happy to eat and then abide.
On the hearth or on the bed,
He curls up nicely on the spread.
