We have an excellent choice in Eastern Idaho as to where to go for watching movies on the big screen. Over the years I have seen that choice change from time to time as I have enjoyed sitting in the seats of each one of every little and small, or big and new establishment. I do have my favorite though. My favorite one of all is the Paramount Triplex Theater at 2085 Niagara in Idaho Falls, Idaho. If you don’t know where Niagara is, it is just west of the Teton Mall off of Channing Way.
There at the Paramount I have found the friendliest personnel, a clean environment, a good choice of shows, and at a modest price… adults are $3.50, while children and seniors and Matinee’s costs a mere $2.50. They currently have a Tuesday special of $2.50. What I like most though is the family friendly movies they choose to show.
The Paramount establishment has three large show rooms with comfortable seats, and a concession stand that presents a selection of goodies that are not outrageously priced. I have found them to be more than happy to give you a cup for water if your prefer a natural refreshment over soda pop to go with your popcorn.
Though the new releases are presented a few weeks after release dates, the reduced price makes it worth the wait. I have really enjoyed my visits to the Paramount. I would like to take in a show today and today as I look at what is playing my choices are-
17 Miracles, X Men First Class, Kung Fu Panda 2, Winnie the Pooh, Green Lantern, Super 8, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
