Longwood Restaurant Review: Paco’s Mexican Restaurant

On my most recent trip to Orlando, I had the opportunity to dine in several restaurants. One of them in particular was Paco’s Mexican Restaurant.

What I enjoyed most was their taco salad because I like the care they take in shredding the lettuce and dicing the tomatoes up small. The meal reminded me of the real Tex-Mex you think about. They also make the best burritos which were so cheesy. You have your choice of sauces in a variety of temperatures- mild, medium and hot.

They are best known for their “build your own” nachos. I didn’t have them this time, but my friend did and it looked so inviting. It looks like they spread the toppings out evenly among the chips.

I do feel they could work more on the portion sizes. Not that they were small, but in that particular moment, having the super size portion would have benefited my large appetite.

The servers were fast and efficient. The staff appears to be acclimated to a busy intake of customers. They were on what seemed to be their best game even when the wait was about 30 minutes. I could see them rushing to their tables with the experience of serving their guests. Our refills were always on time and plentiful. The food was brought out steaming hot and ready to eat. The server brought the check at just the right time at the end of the meal.

I have heard so many wonderful recommendations about this place. Now having experienced it for myself, the only thing I could say that may need improvement is for them to move to a bigger location to accommodate the popularity of their repeat business.

The restaurant is decorated in the expected Mexican style. The lighting creates the mood although it is regular lighting for a casual dining experience. This place is perfect for the ultimate Mexican food cravings. You feel like you are getting authentic Mexican food when you’re dining here. The walls are adorned nicely and overall it is a wonderful place to eat.

The cost of a meal here is very reasonable. For the amount of food, the price is very comparable. If you are looking to save money, you won’t have any problem doing so at Paco’s.

I would definitely recommend dining at Paco’s. If you’re looking to spend time with friends and family and enjoy great Mexican food, this is the place to be.

This is a casual dining experience that treats its customers formally. The best time to eat here would be lunch and dinner.
