I am who I am, and I was born to ball
Had a ball in my hand, even before I could crawl
No one can take that skill away, was given by GOD
Had so much faith in him, he gave the go-ahead nod
Had a tough life growing up, so have many others
I had special people in my corner, along with my mother
One of the best to jump from High School to the NBA
My work ethic and talent help paved the way
Played in my home state, first 7 years as a Pro
Helped take my team to the playoffs six years in a row
Two time MVP, voted to the All Star Game seven times
The older I get, the more I’m compared to fine wine
Now I’m in South Beach, part of the new “Big 3″
If you ask anyone there, they’ll say no one is better than he
No slight on Jordan, Johnson, Bird or Wade, they’re great too
But King James is here now, great for the team, WOOO HOOO
Part of a new team, no problem, no pressure
Every year I can stay healthy, now that’s what I treasure
No rings yet, be patient, they’re on the way
