Bringing her glam looks to the spotlight, Gwen Stefani covers the November 2011 issue of InStyle magazine.
Wearing a pink Marchesa dress with Lorraine Schwartz bangles for the front page shot, the 42-year-old opens up about juggling fashion, music and family.
Inside the magazine, Gwen can be seen striking a series of poses as she shows off her fabulous figure in a variety of colorful, high-fashion frocks.

On her toughest task:
“Being a mother is probably the most challenging thing I do.”
On her secret to balancing her many work efforts with family life:
“At work I’ve learned how to delegate. You don’t have to be on a ladder in a warehouse, micromanaging. You can be at home. And teamwork is also such a big part of marriage and parenting.”
On her beauty preferences:
“My hair color is L’Oréal, but I won’t reveal the number. And I do my roots as often as Marilyn Monroe did hers. I’m serious. I found out.”
On changing up her hair color:
“Right after we came home from the first No Doubt tour I felt like I might get recognized, so I colored my hair red. And I hated it.”
On her famous red lips:
“The makeup goes on every day, even if I’m not going anywhere.”
Seeing that she’s long been a style icon, it’s no wonder Gwen Stefani is also featured on the cover of Fashion Magazine’s November 2011 issue.
The “Hella Good” songstress looks fabulous as usual in a black one-shoulder frock and in her interview she discusses her favorite lipstick shade, her children’s clothing line (Harajuku Mini) and her experience in the fashion industry.
As for scoring Gwen for the Canadian magazine’s cover, editor-in-chief Bernadette Morra explained it was no small feat.
“I have been after Gwen Stefani for a Fashion cover ever since I arrived at this magazine more than two years ago. I think Gwen is a perfect Fashion cover girl – a glamourous mom, talented performer and fashion devotee. My dream finally came true last spring when our beauty editor Sarah Daniel flew to Cannes to interview Gwen during the Cannes Film Festival. The cover photo was also taken in Cannes.”
