As part of the Clinton Global Initiative’s annual meeting Chelsea Clinton interviewed her own mother State Secretary Hillary Clinton about on a range of global issues.
Right now many people are suffering from hunger but technology keep soaring in the market. Secretary Hillary Clinton said that “we really are in a new age, we’re in the age of participation,” speaking to the audience of world leaders, celebrities, business people, philanthropists and non-government organization.
Clinton also encouraged governments and other organizations to be more responsive to people as they make their voices heard, “how to help catalyze, unleash, channel the kind of participatory eagerness that is there.”
“I want to see us moving toward a world where we do try to maximize the God-given potential of every person,” she continued.
Chelsea addressed her mom at the end ” I am once again grateful that you are my mother and my secretary of state.” Youngest Clinton serves on the board of the Clinton Initiative founded by former President Bill Clinton in 2005.
