Center (C) Deep Sleepers – Top 3

Anthony Randolph – Min – pf/c

Entering his fourth season in the NBA, Randolph has gone through a roller-coaster ride during his NBA career thus far. However if Randolph can stay healthy and get a steady amount of playing time, there is plenty of potential for a breakout season from this 6′-11″ power forward/center combo. With the ability to score, rebound, and block shots, Randolph is a solid deep sleeper pick for fantasy basketball teams this season.

2010-2011 Stats: 46.6 fg% — 7.6 ppg — 0.0 3pt — 4.0 reb — 0.8 ast — 0.6 stl — 0.6 blk

2011-2012 Projected Stats: 48 fg% — 15.0 ppg — 0.0 3pt — 7.0 reb — 1.0 ast — 1.0 stl — 1.0 blk

Ekpe Udoh – GS – pf/c

The #6 overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft last season, Udoh finished his rookie season very strong as the starting center in the Warriors lineup. Possessing excellent shot blocking ability, to go along with solid rebounding potential, Udoh could easily become an excellent source of blocks in fantasy basketball leagues this season. On the downside, Udoh does not offer excellent scoring potential, so do not expect much contribution in that category from Udoh this season.

2010-2011 Stats: 43.7 fg% — 4.1 ppg — 0.0 3pt — 3.1 reb — 0.7 ast — 0.4 stl — 1.5 blk

2011-2012 Projected Stats: 45 fg% — 7.0 ppg — 0.0 3pt — 7.0 reb — 0.8 ast — 0.5 stl — 2.0 blk

Tiago Splitter – SA – pf/c

As one of the top overseas players the last few years, Splitter made his NBA debut last season, and entered the year with extremely high expectations. Unfortunately on the veteran Spurs team, Splitter barely sniffed playing time as a rookie last year. Now entering the 2011-2012 season with a year of NBA experience under his belt, Splitter could finally be looking at making a significant contribution at both the center and power forward positions in the Spurs lineup this year. At 6′-11″ Splitter offers plenty of scoring and rebounding ability.

2010-2011 Stats: 52.9 fg% — 4.6 ppg — 0.0 3pt — 3.4 reb — 0.4 ast — 0.5 stl — 0.3 blk

2011-2012 Projected Stats: 50 fg% — 10.0 ppg — 0.0 3pt — 7.0 reb — 1.0 ast — 0.5 stl — 1.0 blk
