I bought Bed Head TIGI Control Freak Serum, and it was a huge waste of money. I am very disappointed with this product. It is over priced, watery hair gel with some glitter in it. It promises to control frizz, straighten your hair and give it a glossy finish, but it does none of these things.
I used it in my hair when it was wet and dry, and I got the same results both times. When you first apply it to your hair it appears to have smoothed the frizz a little, but it never straightens curly or wavy hair. After it dries in your hair, your frizz is back just like you never did anything to your hair at all, so in the end you just wasted your time applying it. You may as well have put some water on your hair to smooth the frizz instead of this product.
I think the company that makes Bed Head TIGI Control Freak Serum focused more on making this glittery, turquoise serum attractive looking to young girls and women rather than focusing on making a product that really does what it claims to do. I believe that is why it is in a clear plastic squeeze bottle instead of a different kind of packaging that does not show what the actual serum inside looks like.
I’m sure that having an attractive looking product is very crucial when marketing merchandise, and people may purchase pretty looking products once to try them, but they will never buy them again when they realize what a failure the product really is. Less flashy looking products that truly work will stand the test of time because they will be bought over and over again by the people who tried them. Then the people who love them will eventually start to recommend them to others, and that will bring will in even more sales. Your best bet is to have an appealing looking product that is really effective.
Bed Head TIGI Control Freak Serum comes in a recyclable plastic bottle that will look nice on your shelf, and it has a pleasant fragrance. Those are the only positive things I can say about this product. Maybe other people like this product, but I do not know why they would.
