5 Reasons to Be Glad You Are Not Jennifer Aniston

1. Who wants to be on a 40-year diet of water and lettuce? It’s no secret that Jennifer Aniston is a warrior when it comes to yoga and fitness. She spends a large majority of her time keeping healthy and that is a smart plan. Everyone should. However, when your career is based a large part on your physical beauty, that has to be a lot of pressure. Be happy that you do not have to keep up with such a rat race, although you can still maintain a healthy lifestyle without being fanatical.

2. Incapable of changing your hairstyle. Poor Jennifer, she has been incapable of escaping “the Rachael” hairstyle that jetted her to success. Unfortunately, with so little room to maneuver with the same hairstyle, it feels like every movie or TV role she is in it’s simply Jennifer Aniston inserted as herself into every role. This makes for boring and unimaginative fiction any way you look at it. Be glad that you can re-invent yourself any way you choose with the freedom to do so at your whim.

3. The worst relationship mistakes. Can this girl be any more unlucky in love? Is it a matter of luck or is she attracted to the ever elusive men that always seem to go running in the opposite direction from her? What is it about her as a person that causes most of her suitors to decide if they’ve had enough? Is she boring in general or is it a specific flaw? Be glad that you have the personality to attract a variety of friends and romances that enable you to grow as a person.

4. Constant nearly nude photo shoots to try to convince the world that you can be just as edgy as Angelina.

Come on, after awhile and over forty (not saying that over the age of forty you can’t be fantastic) these attempts become a little pathetic. Her otherwise conservative nature clashes with these attempts to be daring and outlandish simply fall short every time. Jennifer Aniston is who she is and should stop trying to compete with the ghost of Angelina Jolie. Brangelina is gone, time to move on, Jennifer.

5. A string of bad movies that compels one to ask why is she at all relevant? This one boggles me to no end. As I said earlier, any movie that Jennifer is put into simply looks like Jennifer Aniston as herself with a different plot set around her. There’s no real character development in any of her roles. Why is she famous again? Surely it can’t still be because of the hairstyle. Tell me we are not keeping this girl around because of a sentimental time of “friends.”

In short, go to bed at night knowing that you are most likely a well-rounded person with a range of personality quirks and flaws and that all of those make you who you are- more interesting than Jennifer Aniston!
