Yes all girls get it and you are normal. Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me…

Stupid clear vaginal discharge!!?
Q: Ugh ok I have been having clear/white (non-smelling) vaginal discharge EVERY DAY since I was in the seventh grade. I’m now in the 11th grade and yes I still have it!!!! I already started my period in the 9th grade so yeah that’s not it.. I hate it so much it feels like I have started my period but its really just that gunk! It always makes my underwear wet and nasty and disgusting. I have to be going to the restroom constantly to check if its my period or not. In the mornings when I wake up I have a bigger amount on my undies because of the “hotness” or something. I went to the gyno once and she gave me medicines that would make it stop. but it didn’t. I’m sick of it I don’t know what to do anymore!!!DON”T TELL ME THAT IT IS NORMAL AND THAT IT IS THE VAGINAS WAY TO CLEAN ITSELF BECAUSE THAT IS WHY US GIRLS HAVE PERIODS FORNow what am I suppossed to do I don’t want to live with this for any longer!! and btw there is no way I could have an std or anything because I’m a virgin.
A: It is normal. It is your hormones. You just happen to produce more secretions than another girl might.I was the same way. After I married and started having sex, the secretions stopped being so excessive.Just wear a panty liner and use FDS to feel “fresh”.
vaginal discharge changed?
Q: well, before my vaginal discharge was thickish and white sometimes with yellow tint but now my discharge is as thin as milk and has a foul odour, although, it remains white. My diet has changed to eating whatever to eating loads of Bacon and egg sandwiches. Could it be my diet making these changes.. also the amount of stress in my life has dramatically reduced.. um… I don’t really know what else has changed. I’m not eating as much candy also.I’m a little embarrassed to see a gynocoligyst I don’t know, just somebody examining my vagina seems a bit… I suppose threatening and I do fear (I know that it is irrational) that I will be judged. So that is why I’ve come on Yahoo Answers.Even just a list of possibilities would be appreciated.I am a 17 year old girl. I have had sex only the once which was 1/2 a year ago. I haven’t been tested, and yes I do realise how bad that is, but the way I figure it, I’m not in a new relationship so it only affects me.But it’s not burning or itching. The only symptoms are that
A: It’s propbably thrush, try the cream and if it doesn’t go away talk to the doctor. A foul smell is a sign of infection.

What happens if I don’t even have herpes? also I thought you had to have pimple things on your genitalia.
A: You may have Bacterial Vaginosis, it is the most common type of vaginal infection. It is not an STD, it simply is caused by bacteria. It’s treated with a vaginal cream perscribed by your gynocologist sometimes oral antibiotics are given too. Google Bacterial Vaginosis and you can read up on it.Take care.=-)
