How much blood is normal if you're pregnant?
Q: I know that you can bleed a little with implantation but how much is normal? I never even tested for pregnancy. I was going to today until I started doing more than spotting. But I'm still hardly bleeding, and I had all the beginning symptoms of pregnancy. I just feel pregnant. Maybe just wishful thinking. But I was also getting severe abdominal cramping before the blood so maybe I should just give up on the idea.
A: No right or wrong answer to the question, which doesn't help you, I know. Cramping, heavy spotting--I was sure I was losing my third pregnancy. He's 14 now.Hopefully your doctor is nearby. If you get blood tests ever other day, it will show the levels of the hcg rising, which will verify the pregnancy is progressing."Blighted Ovems" are not uncommon, which are eggs that try and implant (so your body starts responding as if pregnant), but don't fully implant.Give yourself lots of space for the emotional roller coaster this can be. OB offices are notorious for being callous, saying, "of, that's normal, or that's common." For who? Certainly not common or normal for you!!!
If you miss a period, does that automatically mean you're pregnant?

We use a condom AND pull out.Sooo.Help!When I said we use a condom and pull out, I didn't mean seperately. I meant we do it at the same time..We use the condom and Pull ou in addition...When I said we use a condom and pull out, I didn't mean seperately. A: It could mean alot of things. Maybe you didn't ovulate? Have you recently lost or gained weight, are under stress, or recently came off of birthcontrol? All of these things can cause a missed or strange period. You should make an appointment with your OBGYN.
How do you know if you're having a miscarriage?
Q: I'm almost 3 months pregnant, and I've been bleeding a little since sunday. But now I'm bleeding more and its like I'm dripping blood with some really small clots? I know it sounds gross but I'm really scared I'm losing my baby.
A: I lost my baby at 9 weeks. It started the same way. Small amount of bleeding which then got heavier and then i had really bad cramps. My GP told me that miscarrages take place between 5 -7 days of when the bleeding starts. If you are miscarrying, at this early stage there will be nothing that can be done to prevent it. It has not been proven that resting prevents miscarriage. It may be that you have what they call a threatend miscarriage where you get the symptoms but you don't actually lose the baby. Go to A&E and ask to be referred to the Early Pregnancy Unit where that will be able to do an internal scan to let you know if the baby has passed.
