Week 6 RB Rankings – player profiles and stat projections will be updated throughout the week

Week 6 — QB Rankings — RB Rankings — WR Rankings — TE Rankings — D Rankings — Waiver Pickups — Matchup Picks

1. Darren McFadden – Oak = Cle —– McFadden is essentially dominate right now as a fantasy RB, and a matchup this week against the Browns could easily lead to another 100-150 rushing yards and 1 touchdown for McFadden this week.

2. Ray Rice – Bal = Hou —– The loss of Mario Williams should easily open up even more space for Ray Rice to tally his usually yardage numbers. Anything between 100-150 total yards is likely, and a touchdown is definitely possible as well.

3. LeSean McCoy – Phi = @Was —– An always tough divisional matchup between the Eagles and Redskins this week, McCoy should see plenty of touches, with anything in the range of 100-150 total yards and 1 touchdown likely.

4. Michael Turner – Atl = Car —– The Panthers run defense has been anything but good this season after the losses of Jon Beason and Thomas Davis. Michael Turner could easily find himself running all over the Panthers in this game, with 125 rushing yards and 1-2 touchdowns possible.

5. Matt Forte – Chi = Min —– Expecting Forte to rack up plenty of rushing and receiving yards is nearly a guarantee every week. This matchup has all the makings of Forte topping the 100 total yard plateau once again this season.

6. Adrian Peterson – Min = @Chi

7. Arian Foster – Hou = @Bal

8. Frank Gore – SF = @Det

9. Fred Jackson – Buf = @NYG

10. Peyton Hillis – Cle = @Oak

11. Rashard Mendenhall – Pit = Jac — injury ?

12. Ahmad Bradshaw – NYG = Buf —– With Brandon Jacobs likely out again this week, expect Bradshaw to see plenty of touches against the Bills suspect run defense in this game. 100 total yards is easily within reach for Bradshaw this week.

13. Cedric Benson – Cin = Ind —– Excellent matchup for Benson against a reeling Colts defense. 100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is definitely within reach for Benson in this game.

14. Shonn Green – NYJ = Mia —– The Jets finally started to pound the ball on the ground last week, and this weeks matchup against the Dolphins could look very similar for Green once again.

15. DeAngelo Williams – Car = @Atl —– DeAngelo has slowly been getting his feet under him as the season has worn on. With Cam Newton receiving plenty of attention from defenses, DeAngelo is finally starting to take advantage of the situation and benefit from it.

16. Maurice Jones-Drew – Jac = @Pit

17. Jahvid Best – Det = SF

18. Felix Jones – Dal = @NE

19. Darren Sproles – NO = @TB

20. Daniel Thomas – Mia = @NYJ

21. Steven Jackson – StL = @GB —– Not much to get excited about for Jackson this week. The Packers have been excellent against the run, and when you combine that with the likelyhood that the Rams will be down early and big, it seems very unlikely that Jackson will see more than 12 rushing attempts in this game. His best bet is to become a factor in the passing game.

22. Ryan Torain – Was = Phi

23. Mark Ingram – NO = @TB

24. James Starks – GB = StL —– I definitely like the chances of a Green Bay RB scoring this week….but it’s anyone’s guess as to whether that RB with be James Starks or Ryan Grant. Either way I think both Packers RBs are worth starting as a flex option this week.

25. Ryan Grant – GB = StL —– See James Starks.

26. Earnest Graham – TB = NO —– Graham is easily a more than capable RB to fill in for the injured LeGarrette Blount this week. Graham should be considered a solid flex starter, with the potential for starting RB2 status in 16 and deeper leagues this week.

27. Brandon Jacobs – NYG = Buf — injury ? unlikely to play

28. Jonathan Stewart – Car = @Atl

29. BenJarvus Green-Ellis – NE = Dal — injury ? —– After breaking out with a monstrous game last week, Green-Ellis is fighting injury heading into this weeks game. Beware.

30. Pierre Thomas – NO = @TB

31. Reggie Bush – Mia = @NYJ

32. Stevan Ridley – NE = Dal —– Ridley entered last week with plenty of hype, but he fizzled big time as Green-Ellis went off and lite up the stat sheet. It’s anyone’s guess as to what Ridley’s role might be this week.

33. Tim Hightower – Was = Phi — injury ?

34. Joseph Addai – Ind = @Cin — injury ? unlikely to play —– A hamstring injury suffered in last weeks game will likely force Addai to miss this weeks game.

35. Marion Barber – Chi = Min

36. Montario Hardesty – Cle = @Oak —– While the Peyton Hillis news keeps circling around in Cleveland, Hardesty is proving to be a solid backup with potential to eventually take over as a starter if needed.

37. Ben Tate – Hou = @Bal — injury ?

38. Delone Carter – Ind = @Cin —– Carter finally got some extended playing time with Joseph Addai going down with a hamstring injury in last weeks game, but Carter was clearly worse than Donald Brown. Yikes.

39. Donald Brown – Ind = @Cin —– Brown actually looked better than rookie Delone Carter last week when filling in for Joseph Addai. Toss up between whether Brown or Carter will be the better RB this week is Addai is out for this game.

40. Isaac Redman – Pit = Jac

41. Jonathan Dwyer – Pit = Jac
42. DeMarco Murray – Dal = @NE
43. Roy Helu – Was = Phi
44. LaDainian Tomlinson – NYJ = Mia
45. Kendall Hunter – SF = @Det

46. Joe McKnight – NYJ = Mia
47. Bernard Scott – Cin = Ind
48. Michael Bush – Oak = Cle
49. CJ Spiller – Buf = @NYG
50. Danny Woodhead – NE = Dal — injury ?

51. Carnell Williams – StL = @GB
52. Ronnie Brown – Phi = @Was
53. Deji Karim – Jac = @Pit
54. Steve Slaton – Mia = @NYJ
55. Jacquizz Rodgers – Atl = Car

56. Jason Snelling – Atl = Car
57. Toby Gerhart – Min = @Chi
58. John Kuhn – GB = StL
59. Jerious Norwood – StL = @GB
