I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for spring training 2012 to get underway. In anticipation of the season, I’ve been shopping around for a few more New York Yankees’ t-shirts to add to my collection. Here’s a look at five of the best t-shirts I’ve found:
1. Nike New York Yankees Team Grapefruit League Premium T-Shirt
Looking to sport your Yankees spring training pride in style? I found a sweet, navy blue, cotton t-shirt online that is just perfect for a day spent at the ballpark. It’s made by Nike and features a large logo and the words, “Spring Training Grapefruit League”, on the chest. It comes in sizes that range from small to 3X. Personally, I like to buy my cotton t-shirts one size larger than needed to accommodate possible shrinkage. You can pick up one of these stunners for $28.
2. Majestic New York Yankees Spring Training 2012 Appeal Play T-Shirt
Another item that caught my eye was the Majestic New York Yankees Spring Training 2012 Appeal Play t-shirt. It comes in sizes small through extra large and is made with 100% cotton. The shirt is navy blue and features a large, baseball shaped graphic in the center of the chest. What I like about the graphic is that it portrays a beach scene and has the words, “Spring Training Yankees Tampa Florida Grapefruit League”, on it. Of course the team logo is also a part of the t-shirt’s graphic design. It’s available online for $22.
3. Nike New York Yankees Away Premium Practice T-Shirt
While shopping around for my spring training fan apparel, I also ran across a wonderful, New York Yankees Away Premium Practice t-shirt. It’s made by Nike so you know the quality has to be up to snuff. The shirt sports a graphite gray background with white, outlined lettering that reads, “New York Baseball”, and has the patented Nike Swoosh. You can pick one up online for $28 in sizes small through 3X.
4. Majestic New York Yankees Replica Cooperstown Throwback Jersey
Because I am a vintage kind of gal, the Majestic New York Yankees Replica Cooperstown Throwback Jersey also found its way into my online shopping cart. It’s a classic, full-button jersey with rounded hems and the word, “Yankees” emblazoned across the chest. The jersey is gray and the twill lettering is in navy blue. It’s also made from a moisture wicking polyester, which is a superlative choice if you plan on visiting a spring training stadium with little shade. Be prepared to fork over $80 for one.
5. Nike New York Yankees Ladies Logo Shine Tank Top
For those really warm spring training days I found a sexy, New York Yankees Shine Tank Top online for $28. It comes in navy and features a large team logo and the Nike Swoosh on the front chest panel. The logo also has metallic detailing, which makes it look even better. Because it’s made from light weight cotton and sports a slim fit, you can comfortably wear it under a jersey should the weather turn cooler in the evenings.
