People are afraid of me because of my breed
They don’t take the time to see
People see my breed on the news and they concede
Behind the large teeth I’m just a puppy
I’ve been labeled as a dangerous and mean dog
My master knows me as loyal, protective, and fun
Other parents shy away when I’m out for a jog
My master knows I’d never hurt anything under the sun
For once I wish the world would give me a chance
Don’t believe what other say
Judging me individually based on the media’s perspective of my breed is pure ignorance
I’m a puppy just trying to play
So if you see me in the streets, come pet and meet me
You will remember me as the loyal, protective, and fun Pit Bull named, Marley…
