Synopsis: While spending the night in the castle his uncle left him, Bender is struck by a “werecar” and becomes one himself. It’s up to his friends to help him track down the original werecar and destroy it so he is cured of the curse.
What I liked about this episode: I love werewolf movies and this is one of the better werewolf spoofs I’ve seen. I love how we aren’t clued in about what is going to happen until we are well into the episode. At first, I figured it was just a haunted car of some sort that was stalking Bender. When the episode revealed what was really going on, I was definitely entertained.
I especially loved the origins of the original werecar and how it was extra evil because it had an electric engine. Stuff like that is what makes this show so addictive.
What I didn’t like about this episode: I know it was meant to be funny but I just didn’t find myself laughing at the part with Fry being upset because his friend was trying to kill Leela instead of him. It just didn’t really work for me.
Final Opinion: This is definitely an episode that is worth watching if you haven’t seen it. I know I enjoyed it from start to finish and intend on watching it again.
