When I had gastric bypass surgery a few years ago, my surgeon advised me to supplement my diet with protein shakes to make sure I got sufficient protein. Other people use protein shakes, too, including those on low carb diets, those simply wanting to lose weight, those that work out a lot and want to build muscle, and busy people that simply want a quick and healthful snack on the go. The problem is that not all protein shakes taste very good and even if you find some that you like, you might get tired of plain old chocolate and vanilla every day. Enter chocolate peanut butter flavored protein shakes. They taste like a peanut butter cup but they’re good for you!

You can mix this one in hot drinks like hot chocolate or hot coffee as well as in milk or water for a cold shake, if you like. Isoflex peanut butter chocolate protein powder provides 27 grams of protein and 118 calories, with only one gram of sugar and two grams of carbohydrates.
