Canon EOS Rebel T3 18-55mm is II Kit

The Canon EOS Rebel T3 is a DSLR camera with 12.2 megapixels of resolution and a CMOS Image Sensor that provides high quality images. In this article I will discuss a package of this camera that includes an 18-55mm attachable lens. The lens is officially known as an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Type II Lens, and the entire package also includes an eyecap, neck strap, USB cable, battery, charger, software, and user manual. Besides the lens that it comes with, the Rebel T3 is compatible with all Canon EF and EF-S lenses. Besides the CMOS Image Sensor, the Rebel T3 also has the Canon DIGIC 4 Impage Processor which further enhances image quality but is mostly responsible for processing pictures quickly and enabling the camera to take quicker sequences of photos. The Rebel T3 uses 63-zone dual-layer metering which gives you accurate exposures and helps adapt to changing light. There is a 2.7″ TFT LCD display with LiveView technology. The display can be properly viewed up to a 170 degree angle. LiveView lets you see what you’re shooting through the monitor, and zoom in 5x or 10x within the image itself.

The ISO range of the Rebel T3 is 100-6400 which helps you take better pictures in bright light or dim light. 9-point autofocus makes sure the appropriate parts of the scene are focused, and if you want you can manually focus. If you’re saving the pictures you’re taking as a JPEG, you can shoot 3 frames per second continuously up to 830 JPEGs. If you’re opting for RAW format, you can shoot up to 2 frames per second for 5 RAW images. Some advanced imaging features include Basic+, which lets you shoot by ambience selection. It uses exposure compensation and white balance collection to meet the ambience you specify. Shoot by lighting or speed type with the parameter being set by the white balance you choose. Quick Auto is another advanced feature which lets you get quick access to common settings like ISO, contrast, and ambience setting. The battery life of the Rebel T3 is going to range between 210-800 shots depending on whether you are using the flash function, and if you are utilizing the LiveView display or not.

The Rebel T3 also has an EOS HD Movie mode which is capable of capturing video in up to 720p, 25 frames per second. There are a myriad of in-camera editing options available which allow you to tinker with footage before it is uploaded to your computer. If you’re new to photography and are a little lost by the features, the Feature Guide is an in-camera function that gives you a brief description of each function and how it can be used. The Rebel T3 is compatible with SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. The difference between these three types is going to be their write speed. The faster the write speed, the quicker the camera can take the next picture.

Some accessories for the Rebel T3 are a camera bag, backup battery, remote switch, travel charger, mini-HDMI cable, tripod, and lens filters.
