When I came across a Pinata Beef Enchilada Frozen Dinner, in the frozen dinners section of my local favorite Dollar Tree store, I was tempted. I love Mexican style meals and this one was very affordable. I decided to purchase it, try it out and write a food product review all about my experience with it. Here is what I found out!
One Pinata Beef Enchilada Frozen Dinner costs only one dollar! I loved that very low price. This meal’s menu is enticing. It has a large beef enchilada, lots of red chile sauce, Spanish style rice and refried beans. That all sounded great to me. I found out that this dinner is protein packed and fiber rich. It is also microwave friendly. I decided to have this dinner for a quick lunch. I placed it in my microwave, cooked on high for three minutes, uncovered the beans and rice, stirred, replaced the film cover and continued cooking on high for four more minutes. I let this meal stand for two minutes before serving. It smelled yummy. When I tasted the beef enchilada, I liked it. It was tender, beefy and flavorful. The red chile sauce in this meal is quite spicy. You must like a spicy dish to enjoy it. The sauce is a bit too spicy for me, but I added some sour cream and that helped. The Spanish rice was a tad dry, but tasty. The beans are good and I thought that they were perfect. Overall, this meal is a winner, if you love spicy food. I rate Pinata Beef Enchilada Frozen Dinner three and one half stars out of five stars. I probably won’t buy this one again, but that is only because it was a bit too fiery for me.
