We all hear their voices
In our head each day
Pointing to the choices
All along life’s way
Satan loves to taunt us
Leading us astray
Telling us how hopeless
It is when we pray
“Give in to the struggle
There’s no way to win”
He wants us to gamble
Giving in to sin
God whispers to the heart
Not just to our head
His wisdom to impart
Peace instead of dread
“Let go of the struggle”
His voice in our ear
“Let Me fight the battle
Against sin and fear”
Yes, we hear both daily
Satan and the LORD
I choose Him Who saved me
