The Obama Jobs Creation Initiative

President Obama is expected to come up with a new jobs creation initiative this week with unemployment stalled at 9.1% (an under deflated figure); but what is the point?

The way I see it any program that the president tries to pass through at this point will be rejected by the Republican led Congress because they want him out in 2012. In the meantime it doesn’t matter that the American people are suffering while all of the “fat cats” on Capital Hill have their jobs and health care, and who knows what else they are lining their pockets with.

This so-called stalled economy, as the media presents it to us, is actually a recession heading to depression. I don’t care what the administration or the Feds call it. The only thing that the president can do at this is point is follow the Roosevelt paradigm by creating a massive infrastructure program (which this country desperately needs) to put people back to work; but the Republicans are dead set against any more spending and who can blame them. Where did all the stimulus money go? The American people bailed out all the big banks so that small business loans and mortgage loans would loosen up. Instead the banks took the money and invested it, while tightening the loan process.

The current administration feels that now is the time to feed the economy rather than starve it, while the republicans ardently reject any more spending and feel that the economy can be stimulated by tax cuts and loosening up federal regulations.

Guess where we are going? No where.

It’s time to take a serious look at Ron Paul.
