Strapless sandals on searing sidewalks,
Slurping strawberry slushies on a stick.
Sand sticking to sunscreened skin,
Swimmers squealing in the spray.
Sails snapping along the shore,
Savage storms STRIKE and STARTLE.
Stillness…
Screaming while spiraling sideways,
Sweethearts strolling under a spectacular sunset.
Singing silly songs and snacking on smores,
Slumbering under the starlit sky.
Summer’s splendor…..
