I have been using Straight Talk Prepaid Mobile Service for over a Year now. I use the Unlimited plan for $45 a Month. The Service is great. I don’t get dropped calls like I did with other services I have used. The Unlimited Plan is truly unlimited. I receive Unlimited calls, text, and web use. There are several options for phones. I have the middle grade style phone. It gives me phone, text, web, camera, and data use. I am very satisfied with the Mobile Service and have and do recommend it.

However, The customer service is another story. Each month I have the option of automatic refill, service card purchase (available at Walmart), or credit card refill though customer service. I have used the service card purchase option many times. Several times it was fast and easy. But on occasion when I entered the pin # I was without serves still and had to call customer service. Several times I was told I would require a new sin card and it would take days to be sent to me. Of course I pointed out the fact that the phone worked just fine a few hours earlier and I could not be without a phone for days.

The first time this happened it took 5 calls and 2 days to get them to simply send a new signal to my phone and reset it. The second time, I was aware of the procedure from past experience and was able to inform them of what needed to be done. The third time it happened they fixed in within minutes. I have also used the credit card refill option, and have not had a problem using that option and my new minutes are upgraded immediately. However, This option requires about 5 mins time or more.

Regardless of the 3 bad experiences with customer service, I would still recommend this service. The price and mobile service makes up for the trouble I had refilling air time.
