While some celebrities race to the altar, Jessica Simpson is taking her time in planning her wedding with Eric Johnson.
The “With You” songstress and her handsome fiance have put their nuptials on hold, blaming indecision for the delay.
An inside source told US magazine, “Everything is up in the air. She can’t figure out what kind of day she wants. Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home.”
Meanwhile another pal has indicated that perhaps Jess has cold feet, stating, “She was so gung ho about planning their wedding, and now she’s gone dark. She won’t commit to a date.”
News of the wedding delay comes only one day after a report alleging that Jessica Simpson is pregnant with her first child.
According to a story featured in the new issue of InTouch, the 31-year-old singer is said to be carrying a little one with the father being her former NFL player fiance, Eric Johnson.
A friend of the “Dukes of Hazzard” darling told the magazine, “She’s already having kooky cravings!”
The source added that nachos dipped in chocolate is her snack of choice, “which satisfy her urge for salty and sweet.”
Interestingly, the publication also reads that the baby news hasn’t altered Miss Simpson and her man’s plans to tie the knot this November.
This past weekend Jess and sister Ashlee were spotted south of the border in Los Cabos, Mexico where they helped gal pal Nicole Ritchie ring in her 30th birthday.
The “Fashion Star” host attempted to disguise what appeared to be a baby bump in a loose-fitting animal-print top as she jetted out of Cabo San Lucas yesterday afternoon.
Simpson was first spotted with a rounder midsection back in July, at which time her spokesperson came forward to tell press, “She is not pregnant.”
