Hailey Dunn is the now 14 year old cheerleader from Colorado City, Texas, that disappeared from her home December 27th, 2010. If you remember Billie Dunn the mother and her live in boyfriend Shawn Adkins are the two persons of interest in the case. Their stories changed, showed deception, they both failed polygraphs examinations and they have admitted dealing in drugs. Shawn Adkin’s computers were all seized filled with pornography and suspected child pornography. Scarey videos of Adkins dressing up in slasher costumes carrying guns and knifes surfaced. I am sorry but this is creepy!
How could anyone live with this character in the house and with young children?
Billie Dunn’s mother has already been arrested for drugs in this case once and here we go again…she’s back in the county lock up. I have suspected that Connie Ostrander was the leader of the gang that had her daughter Billie in the grips of all this and that they were all trying to groom Hailey to get in on the big time too. Billie Dunn is following in her mother’s footsteps if you ask me. Was Billie Dunn trying to force Hailey to be a part of the so called drug gang they had been advertising around town? Hailey goes missing right after Christmas, during the break from school.
So far Connie Ostrander has been arrested twice. Clint Dunn has been arrested. Connie’s son has been arrested. Billy Dunn herself has been arrested. The only one that I do not have a record of being arrested is Shawn Adkins. He seems like the most likeliest to be arrested with all the stuff he does. This really is very similar to the Croslin gang. Maybe Shawn is next on the list.
There are rumors floating around that the family(Billie and Shawn) are friends with sex offenders and that these offenders have walked in and out of the homes like family members. Ugh! This is disgusting. Expose your children to these people and Hailey is now missing. Hello! There has been talk that the night before Hailey went missing that registered sex offenders were allowed in the home by Billie Dunn and Adkins.
Currently there is a sex offender running around doing home repairs right inside the homes of unsuspecting people in Colorado City. I have a link below that shows all the registered sex offenders in this area of Texas. If this isn’t the most perfect way to get inside a home and see where all the kids live and their names. A sex offender can just select a kid at the most opportune time because he knows all the schedules too, and you have a missing child. Does the school system make sure that all parents know who these sex offenders are, living near them? There are 26 offenders, 6 that are NON-Mapable. What is that? With a record how can they be “Unmappable”? This is ridiculous!

I am going to give you a link to a recent story that I just wrote on Laura Smithers from Texas. Laura also disappeared on a 6 day like Hailey. The case is very similar. Both disappeared during the day indicating an everyday working type of male that took her. The man that is the main suspect in her abduction and murder was working construction a mile away. Watch who you let into your house to do any work. Elizabeth Smart was also taken by a man who did work inside the home. Remember I had said that as many as 6 know about Hailey’s disappearance.
