DALLAS COWBOY’S FAN SEASON JOURNAL ENTRY #14

The game was not much of a game. The Eagles came to play and the Cowboys came to watch. This was that one game a year that was over before it really got started. Everything worked for the Eagles and nothing worked for the Cowboys. By the middle of the second quarter all that was left to be determined, how many points the Eagles would score.

The Dallas Cowboys were terrible. Andy Reed never loses after a bye week, extending his record to 13 and 0 following a bye week. The Eagles looked much better than their record showed. Every aspect of their game plan worked. Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Miles Austin, and Dez Bryant looked lost. They looked more excited on the sidelines than on the field.

Even the defense looked bad, missing tackles and looking inept. Not what we have grown accustomed to from Rob Ryan and his boys. It is a good thing the Seattle Seahawks come to town Sunday, redemption is only a week away. But for last night, give the Eagles and Mike Vick their props. They were the better team and not much more needs to be said. It was a good old fashioned butt kick-in in Philly.
